Here skiing is more than just up and down: here you have the freedom of a whole region. Connecting the extensive ski areas of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm has opened up a whole new dimension in winter sports.

Hauser Kaibling is a freestyle el dorado providing amazing runs and fun on the slopes for both novice and expert alike.
Unique are the two long runs down to the valley, including the famous FIS World Cup women's downhill course, while the pistes in the eastern part of Hauser Kaibling (served by the Höfi-Express lifts) offer plenty of variety.

The pistes in the area of middle lift station give endless hours of pleasure. Another must is the route down the Hauser Kaibling east slope. And the run from the Kaibling plateau area over to Schladming's Planai is not known as the most attractive for nothing. Snow making is entirely eco-friendly on all of the pistes from the summit to the valley. What's more, the piste grooming on Hauser Kaibling ranks among the best in the Austrian Alps.

The Dachstein-Tauern region was one of the pioneers of snowboarding.
Its excellent range of runs plus a large number of extras make the region a perfect winter playground for the scene.
Haus im Ennstal caters specially for families
Ski nurseries down in the valley (near the lift station) and up in the mountains (middle station). Après-ski for children? How about sledging on the 7-km-long Galsterbergalm or Hochwurzen toboggan runs.

If you buy a 6-day adult lift pass from the middle of March to the end of the season, children until 15 years get their pass free (one paying adult = one child free).
